Vendor - Product Variations
1. In your vendor dashboard, under the products menu, you can create product variations for a single product that has a variation of colour, design, size etc. You will add your product as explained in the “How to Add Products to your Shop” guide.
In the “Product Type” field, select the variable option.
2. Next you will scroll down to the “Attribute and Variation” menu. In this guide we will use the “color” variation option. Once selected, you can select the colours in the “Values” tab. Then click on the “Save attribute” button.
If you have mistakenly added the incorrect value, you can remove the value by clicking on the “x” next to the value.
If you have selected the wrong attribute, you can just click on the “Remove” option to the top right of the “Value” tab.
After the corrections (if any), click on the “Save attribute” button.
3. To be able to add pricing to your variations, click the “Add variation” dropdown menu. From this menu, you can specify the variations you want to add pricing to, by selecting “Add variation” or you can streamline the process by just selecting the “Create variations from all attributes” option.
On the right of the above mentioned menu, there is a dropdown menu to select a featured variation. A featured variation is the main variation that you would like to be displayed on your shop page. The best way to decide which variation to set as the featured variation is to determine which one people are most likely to find the most attractive. In other words, your best seller.
After selecting your desired options, click “Go”
4. Click on the variation in order to expand the menu. Fill in the fields.
Shopping cart – here you can upload an image of your product with the variation(s) stated.
SKU – to keep track of your inventory.
Regular price (R) – what you wish to sell it for.
Sale price (R) – if you are running a special on it, you can enter your special price here. Remember to schedule the special if you are running it for a limited time.
Weight and dimensions – add if it is a large product that will incur extra courier fees. (if you are unsure about courier fees for a large product, the CCS team will assist you upon reviewing your product listing)
Variation description – add a detailed description of the product variation if needed.
Do this for all product variations and click on the “Save Variations” button at the bottom.
Save your product and await review from the CCS team. If there are any issues with your product(s), we will be in contact with you.
Once your product is approved, it will go live on your store (～￣▽￣)～
